10 Seconds Guide To Bash Shell Scripting
I haven’t posted in a while and didn’t want you to think I abandoned you so here’s a quick VERY basic HTML / CSS tutorial for creating three column layout that work in the big three browsers.
I adore music and it is very rare to find an album where every song touches your soul. I was having a drink with the old man downstairs and we were listening to some of his ancient records. I love Blues and Jazz but good music is just good music so without further adieu I present this month’s recommended album:
This album takes you to a place you haven’t been in years, it is truly timeless and has something for everyone. This masterpiece bears some of the most touching romantic and deeply moving melodies and lyrics I have ever heard – it is guaranteed to induce immense nostalgia. Pour a sifter of Cognac, lay back in your leather recliner and drift away.
I bought a copy for my mom as a surprise - lets hope she doesn’t read this post.
I guess tonight while packing I had a few too many cups of coffee so I was obviously wired and decided to sit down and write some code. I ended up writing an XMPP / Jabber relay for ENUMPlus which I must say works pretty damn good. Setting this all up is a three step process ;
- Create an account / Login to enumplus.org and click “Notifications”. Input your XMPP user account in the form and press “Send Me Notifications!”.
- Copy the provided dialplan addition and paste it into /etc/asterisk/extensions_custom.conf. Reload your dial plan of course with asterisk -rx “dialplan reload”.
- Add enumplus@gmail.com to your buddy list and test it out!
Here’s a screenshot to get started.
Anyway, go get signed up and test it out for yourself – it is a ton of fun!
Dreamhost has been the “best of the worst” shared hosting providers for a long time standing – I believe I have been a registered user for over four years. Recently we have all seen a huge decline in quality of service as well as huge security issues. I haven’t hosted a site there in over a year, it used to be a very reliable and affordable service. Now I find myself stuck with a $130.00 bill ($9.95 / month) for them simply maintaining registrant status. If you ask me, pointing a few DNS records to my own DNS server should not cost this much.
Here’s a support ticket I just posted – I will keep you updated on it’s progress.
